Hey guys - Brian was finally able to get out on the second bear hunt of the season over the weekend so no Livestream tonight. We'll let you know when he's back and we can pick it back up. Hope everyone's hunts are going well.
Thick one down, I’ve been up in arms about going or not because I’ve been wanting a fall bear for the fat and quick hunts after work have been hard to fully tune out and focus , I was fortunate to find one that checked all my boxes and made it happen . When you second guess yourself thinking it’s a stump and then it turns into a bear just give it a thorough look again. I messed this one up the 1st time , missed another by dialing backwards, then got some redemption a few days later. This bear did the same thing . Saw it moving and lost it . After thoroughly looking at all the stumps this one started bearly moving as it was face deep munching on cleavers. Closed some distance and got tight . No blood at hit and it only made it 15 yards. 300wm did it again and no bloody foreheads haha. I found a meadow that was giving hints of fawn/ calving grounds and gave it a try from my normal goat bear spots . Hope y’all are having a great season chasing bears, turkey ,or mushrooms!
