LLAMA FACTS
Llamas can carry 18-22% of their body weight. If you take a 380lb llama, that means they can efficiently carry 68-83lbs of gear. I'm pretty sure that will lighten my pack load!

My wife Hill and I love getting packages like this! When a box shows up that’s been sent from my father over in Washington State this is often what I can expect to find. You can bet it’s going to have dried mushrooms for making tea, tinctures or sometimes even healing salves and balms that he’s put together from his harvests off his property. He’s turned into quite the hippy healer in his old age 😂. Truly living off his land🙌🏻

1,160 Psi of bite force. Canine tooth from a grizzled bear Ursus Horribilis . Set in heavy .925 Silver Cap ,TopO textures with detailed markings of the presence of bear sign. Deer leather cordage. Little features of all the things we look for while out in the field. My approach to this was to show as much of the tooth as possible without losing any of its size. I always try to learn something new with each piece that i make. This one taught me a lot of patience as it took me a long time to make and get the final piece right. Multiple tries to get it done . Lessons sometimes i learn in metalsmithing transfer over into hunting.

The Ozark Odell , these are inspired by my friend and fellow bear hunter down in Arkansas. Similar to the Flintlock style except with an additional wire wrap. Hope y’all have great Sunday and some luck on the mountain. No bears just yet for me. Practicing my patience till I can find the right one and learn as much as possible .
