My wife Hill and I love getting packages like this! When a box shows up that’s been sent from my father over in Washington State this is often what I can expect to find. You can bet it’s going to have dried mushrooms for making tea, tinctures or sometimes even healing salves and balms that he’s put together from his harvests off his property. He’s turned into quite the hippy healer in his old age 😂. Truly living off his land🙌🏻

Spring Bear Season is finally here, I hope everyone has great success this season .I’m in the mountains working away so I can go get after them soon. I’m proud to say that these Oso TopO pendants are now made and handcrafted in the mountains of the west within bear country where I now reside . It has been a goal of mine before I even started this journey to live out here and still can’t believe it’s real. I’ve gone fulltime with my art and working hard to turn this idea with a few other pursuits as a means to get by while doing what I love all at the same time. A wild life of everything outdoors and creating my artwork outside as much as possible . November is my favorite time of year for hunting here in Georgia.the weather is finally starting to cool down. The Rut is starting to pick up and the leaves are starting to fall. In September I was able to take a deer with the bow, but once rifle season starts in October, the ability to hunt with the bow is hard on public land due to all of the pressure. On one hunt on a WMA I was able to bring out the new Henry all weather 45-70 and had success of taking 2 large does. The 45-70 is now one of my favorite cartridges for the mountain hunting here in Georgia. The cartridge is hard hitting and drops deer right where they stand but doesn’t cause massive cavitation like my 300 PRC or something similar. It just knocks a clean hole.Overall deer season was a success and I can’t wait for it to come back around.
