Got after it last week and was able to fill three elk tags, one for myself and two for friends. I have had many successes on this same hunt in the past but this year was different. It was a tough hunt with little to no snow and rain most of the week. These guys still put in the miles, never complained, and we had a blast. This was my first muzzleloader hunt as well in a unit I have only archery hunted in and the open terrain made it difficult. Thankful for the memories, shared stories and experiences.
