I was so proud of myself! Only the second shed I’ve ever glassed up and it was 2 miles away! Then I noticed there was a second!!! A side by side set!
Lying there motionless for 20 minutes while I zoomed in, took videos and pics. Elk herd appeared and moved through. Something even momentarily spooked the herd and they all flinched.
Of course, my side by side set didn’t budge.
It no longer mattered what else happened, this trip was a success!
I then spent about 20 minutes glassing and filming full racked bulls on another hill but just before dark and turning in for the evening, I wanted to see my prize one more time to dream about before the monumental pick up in the morning.
My “side by side” set had walked off!!!
