Finally got it done on a different bear with the wife and 3 of the 4 kids in tow. My wife spotted this black stump at 716 yards then I confirmed it was indeed not a stump and a black bear. Wife and kids were way to excited. So we parked the truck off the side of the logging road and a start my stalk down the a point off the road I could lay down and shoot from made it down to 338 yards and got set up. Watched him for about 10 more minutes before I finally shot.
Wife got it on camera but she didn’t you to spotter kids and wife were jacked.
