Received a phone call from AZGFD today that someone surrendered an archery bull tag 4B. I was the next hunter on the list. Sorry for the hunter having to surrender the tag . But, I can't say thank you enough for giving me the opportunity for a bull elk with a bow. Just can't believe this happened. THANK YOU, THANK YOU! If it is someone from the Hideout, very much appreciated.
My first Bear not very big but weather was turning bad. Brian inspired me or cursed me not sure but after 3 attempst. 1st fall bear in CO run out by forest fires. 2nd in WY above Cody, big storm that washed out the road to Yellowstone had to sim the horses across the river. 3rd badly injured leg , but found a good hide bright green grass, small stream, edge of dense woods. Bear appeared watch for cubs , then partner stood up to go take a shit.
