This buck was known as "Big Sexy." I've only hunted whitetails a few times but I genuinely LOVE hunting these things! I took this buck from a treestand 40-50ft up a tree. We got freezing rain and trees were falling all around me! Branches hitting the ground--all the other dudes in camp took those 2 days off. I climbed in that tree where I KNEW this buck was gonna cross my path and ignored the weather and the boredom for a week. I shot this buck on the last night of the last day. This buck had evaded hunters for years. It felt good to take this old, sly buck. I didn't do anything special--I just refused to quit. If I've got anything going for me, it's that I won't quit on anything I care about.

What a hunt! 9 days of not seeing or hearing a single moose. Raining almost everyday. Then this guy right at dark came out to a bull call ready to fight shot him at 50 yards. A great adventure
Hey fellas, if you haven’t hunted Kodiak and want a heck of a challenge just go. Arianna shot a 12 point which fell off the mountain and broke an antler then the famous Russ Knight of Mounted in Alaska shown with Arianna promised he’d fix it. We will send a pic when we get it. Biggest I’ve ever seen! 7 hour pack off almost 60 degree in place slope through 3-8 ft of brush down 1500 feet to the boat. She also caught the largest halibut at 70 lbs. 200 lbs of fish and venison going home.
